In this section, we have put together all the relevant information about international flights, requirements for passengers and conditions for entering foreign countries. The ever-changing nature of COVID-19 measures means that governments are updating their entry requirements regularly. We strongly recommend that you check the requirements for passports, visas, as well as the current restrictions related to COVID-19 in the official government sources of the country you are planning to travel to.

- Residents of Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong (SAR China), Indonesia, Korea (Rep.), Macao (SAR China), and New Zealand. (They must have been living in the residence country in the past 6 months)
- Military personnel,
- Merchant seaman,
- Students.

- Passengers who exempt from PCR test:
- Passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated with AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), AstraZeneca (SK Bioscience), Covaxin, Covishield, Covovax, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Nuvaxovid (Novavax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm, Sinovac or Sputnik V,
- Passengers who have a «QR-coded Recovery certificate» issued within the last 1 month,
- National of UAE,
- Children under the age of 16,
- Children with moderate to severe disabilities,
- Passengers who will use the DXB in transit (unless there is a test requirement for final destination),
- First-degree relatives traveling with UAE nationals,
- Sponsored employees traveling with UAE nationals.
- SHJ
- All passengers who entering to Sharjah (SHJ) must have negative PCR test issued (sample given date) at most 0-48 hours before departure from the first embarkation point.
- Passengers who exempt from PCR test:
- Passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated with AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), AstraZeneca (SK Bioscience), Covaxin, Covishield, Covovax, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Nuvaxovid (Novavax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm, Sinovac or Sputnik V.,
- Passengers who have a «QR-coded Recovery certificate» issued within the last 1 month,
- National of UAE,
- Children under the age of 12,
- Children with moderate to severe disabilities,
- Passengers who will use the SHJ in transit (unless there is a test requirement for final destination. Passengers transfering to India with AIR INDIA and AIR INDIA EXPRESS will not be accepted.
- AUH
- All passengers who entering or transiting to Abu Dhabi (AUH) must have negative PCR test issued (sample given date) at most 0-48 hours before departure from the first embarkation point.
- Passengers who exempt from PCR test:
- Passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated with AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), AstraZeneca (SK Bioscience), Covaxin, Covishield, Covovax, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Nuvaxovid (Novavax), Pfizer BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm, Sinovac or Sputnik V,
- Passengers who have a «QR-coded Recovery certificate» issued within the last 1 month,
- National of UAE,
- Children under the age of 12,
- Children with moderate to severe disabilities,

- Paasengers arriving to UAE are download and register ICA UAE Smart app on their smart phone before departure or upon arrival.
UAE ICA Smart& - All PAssengers who travel to Abu Dhabi (AUH) must download and active ALHOSN UAE application.
ALHOSN UAE&
Things to do before your flight:
- Passengers with a residence visa returning to Dubai (DXB) or Al Maktoum (DWC) and arriving from Bangladesh, Congo, India, Liberia, Namibia, Nepal, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Sri Lanka must have a GDRFA approval obtained before departure at
- Passengers entering Abu Dhabi (AUH) must register before departure on
and must get QR code or SMS before arrival.
- Nationals of United Arab Emirates are exempt.
- Transit passengers.
- Passengers entering Abu Dhabi for the World Policy Conference are exempt. - Passengers are not allowed to transit through Abu Dhabi (AUH) for more than 24 hours. Passengers must have a confirmed airside hotel booking if their transit time exceeds 12 hours.
- Airline crew without a printed negative COVID-19 PCR test result of a test taken at most 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point are subject to quarantine until their next flight.
- It is mandatory that passengers arriving to UAE are required to download and activate ICA UAE Smart applications on their smart phone.
UAE ICA Smart& - All Passengers who travel to Abu Dhabi (AUH) must download and active ALHOSN UAE application.
ALHOSN UAE& - You must arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before your flight.
