In order to ensure flight safety, passengers, baggage and hand luggage pass mandatory preflight inspection, and if necessary post-flight inspections. Preflight inspection is carried out after the implementation of border, customs, immigration, veterinary and other types of control.
Examinations are carried at the airport by authorized persons of aviation security services and employees of internal affairs bodies in transport involved in conducting of preflight and post-flight inspections. Pre-flight inspection does not exclude the possibility of carrying out inspection during the operational search, criminal procedural and other activities by authorized persons in the manner established by the legislation required by laws of a country from which the carriage is performed.
- Passengers with diplomatic status, possessing diplomatic immunity, as well as courier escorts accompanying correspondence, are searched on general grounds, except for cases stipulated by the legislation a country from which the carriage is performed.
- Passengers in wheelchair unable to move independently, or patients on stretchers (on crutches, in wheelchairs), passengers who have implanted devices that stimulate the heart activity, are subject to manual inspection, and the persons accompanying them are inspected on a general basis.
In case of passenger's refusal from inspection, Southwind Airlines has the right to cancel the contract of air transportation, with reimbursement of payment for transportation in accordance with these Rules of the carrier and the Rules for the application of fares.
